Maria supports Future Benefits in all aspects of creating financial plans, preparing for client review meetings, and additional planning related projects. Prior to joining Future Benefits, Maria built comprehensive financial plans for multiple advisors around the country, assisted in the change of trading systems and created a training program for advisors in her prior firm. As a Business Manager at Texas Tech University, she handled budgeting and expense planning for four departments.
Maria has her Master’s Degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University, one of the nation’s top colleges in this field, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley.
Originally from Sweden, Maria currently lives in West Texas with her husband and two dogs. Maria came to the US to play soccer on the university level while also getting a quality education. In her free time, she enjoys taking her dogs on long hikes, traveling, and working out.
