Dicran has been involved in professional financial consulting for over 28 years.  After receiving his undergraduate degree at University of Michigan, he earned his MBA at the University of Virginia.  Commercial lending at NBD Bank introduced him to the world of entrepreneurs – individuals and professionals that work every day to balance personal needs with the demands of owning a business or managing a profession.  Watching his father, an MD with his own medical practice, strive to achieve this same balance gave him an early appreciation of the vital need for a trusted financial advisor on a business and a personal level.

 

Dicran is considered a technician in the financial services industry, applying the creative use of financial products and services to help individuals and corporations meet a diverse array of needs.  With eight years at a pension consulting firm, and over twenty seven years of corporate benefit consulting experience, he is uniquely qualified to integrate strategies to the financial issues facing individuals and small businesses.  His capability has been recognized by many of the area's top professionals in the legal and accounting community.

 

Over the years, he has earned the designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^TM, Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).  He is a member of the Society of Financial Services Professionals, Financial Planning Association; Financial & Estate Planning Council of Metro Detroit, Chairman’s Club of LPL Financial (less than top 6% of LPL Financial advisors nationwide based on prior year end production) and serves on the boards of the Birmingham Athletic Club and Manoogian Manor.

 

Dicran and his wife Aralynn are active in Detroit’s Armenian community and live in Bloomfield Hills.  They have two daughters:  Allison completed her MBA (2010) from the Ross Graduate School of Business at the University of Michigan and now lives in Chicago where she continues her career with an international consulting firm.  Lisa is a University of Michigan Law School Candidate, class of 2012.  Dicran enjoys live theater, music and squash.
